The SC50 was an air-dropped high-performance bomb used by the German Air Force during World War II, weighing between 48 and 55 kilograms. There were eight variations, and when used as an anti-ship bomb, it was fitted with an adapter to prevent ricochets. When used as an anti-personnel bomb, it was fitted with a "stabo spike" to detonate at the height of an upright person before hitting the ground. In bomb bays, it was stored facing downwards or horizontally, and when mounted under the wings, it was mounted horizontally.
