■ Description
HEMTT is a series of eight-wheeled diesel engine off-road trucks operated by the U.S. Army. Compared to standard five-wheeled trucks, this heavy-duty truck boasts a very high mobility due to the combination of eight-wheeled all-wheel drive and thick low-pressure tires as well as a supercharged engine. M983 tractors are used in conjunction with semitrailers to transport construction equipment and materials. The M870A1 is the successor semitrailers to the M870 and was used for transporting building materials and supplies. Unlike the M870, the tractor can not be disassembled from the rear and disassembled from the rear.
