Ratte is the code name given to the super-giant tank, land cruiser P1000, designed and planned in Germany during World War II. The Ratte weighed approximately 1000 tons, reached a length of 35m and a width of 14m, and was nicknamed the "battleship on land." During its refit in 1944, it was equipped with twin turrets, with the central 28cm triple turret removed from the main gun turret of the Scharnhorst-class battleship. This kit replicates the Scharnhorst-class battleship's main gun turret, specifically the twin 28cm gun turret with one gun removed. The hull, measuring approximately 480mm in length, is made of a single piece for both the upper and lower sections, ensuring sufficient strength. The main gun turret, equipped with two 28cm battleship guns, is accurately modeled. Of course, the gun barrels can be moved up and down, and rotated left and right even after completion. All road wheels are separate parts, and the suspension is movable with metal springs. The tracks are link-and-assemble type for a realistic finish. Enjoy the impressive presence of this massive tank.
