■Product Description
The South Korean Navy's Sejong the Great is the first ship of the Sejong the Great-class destroyers and is equipped with the Aegis system. With this, South Korea became the fifth country in the world to possess Aegis destroyers. The Sejong the Great was commissioned and put into operation in 2008. It is equipped with a 127mm single gun, a Goalkeeper 30mm Gatling gun for close-in air defense, and missiles that can be used for anti-air, anti-ship, and anti-ground attacks. The first three ships are designated as Batch 1, and the fourth ship of Batch 2, the Jeongjo the Great, is currently in service as of 2024.
