■Product Description
This is a precision tool developed for scribing.
By using an extremely hard cemented carbide (tungsten carbide), it achieves amazing sharpness and high durability.
The blade tip is a sharp, flat blade type, allowing for scribing of uniform width. The line thickness does not change even when deep scribing.
Because the blade tip is sharp, it is possible to scrib from corners as shown in Figure (1).
There are 13 different blade widths. Each size is fitted with a color-coded ring.
It is used by attaching it to a cutting tool holder or pin vise, etc.

■Precautions for Use
The material of the scribing carbide is a very hard cemented carbide.
Although it has high hardness, it lacks toughness, so it may break if twisted, flicked, or subjected to lateral force.
Please be especially careful when scribing curves or when using thin scribing carbides of 0.1 to 0.2 mm.
