[Product Introduction]
The second product supervised by professional modeler Tomoe Ogoshi! This color piece kit allows you to create paint color samples under conditions close to those of actual plastic models. The curved and flat surfaces are treated with semi-gloss and matte finishes respectively, simulating the surface of plastic model parts and surfaces after primer application.
It is easy to hold like a painting stick, and after painting, you can snap the handle to quickly transform it into a small plate.
You can neatly organize them in the included binder and create your own unique color pieces.

■Create color samples close to the actual finish
The [Snap Color Piece 054] uses the same material (PS resin) as that used in plastic models.
You can test the adhesion of water-based and oil-based paints with color pieces that mimic actual plastic model parts.
Two new molded colors, Pure White and Clear, are now available. Ideal for testing the color development of highly transparent paints such as clear paints and fluorescent paints.
■Packed with information thanks to 4 different base coats
The parts to be painted as color pieces consist of flat and curved surfaces.
Each has a glossy finish and a matte finish, so it reproduces the texture of the surface of molded parts and the matte finish when a primer is applied.
By painting the entire color piece, you can check the color development of 4 different base coats at once.
■Easy painting with a support rod
The [Snap Color Piece 054] comes with a support rod, so you can easily paint it by hand while holding it in your hand.
It can be inserted directly into the paint base, making drying easy.
Using the separately sold "Paint Base TURN IN TURN" makes drying even easier.
After drying, snap the support rod to transform it into a compact color piece.
Also, by using the included index sticker to write the contents and attaching it to the flat area on the back, you can easily identify the paint name.
Your own color sample is complete.
