This product is a brass turned part mainly modeled after the pitot tubes of 1/48 to 1/72 scale air models. The thickness changes in the middle and the steps are tapered, so it is easier to make and provides a more realistic finish than making it yourself with brass wire. It is recommended not only for repairing broken parts in kits, but also for those who are building aircraft for which dedicated parts are hard to come by, and for those who want to try detailing up their air models.
In addition, it can be widely used not only for air models, but also for AFV, ship models, and robot model antennas. The length is designed to accommodate various scenes, so cut the front and back to your desired length.
【How to Use】
1. Drill an opening where the pitot tube will be inserted. 1. If the total length is 20 mm, the diameter should be 0.5 mm; if the total length is 40 mm, the diameter should be 0.9 mm.
2. Cut the pitot tube to adjust the length. (*Please use wire cutters that can handle metal wires.)
3. Secure it with instant adhesive.
*When cutting, please use wire cutters that can handle metal wires up to 1.0 mm in diameter. Cutting with wire cutters designed for plastics may cause damage to the blades.
