■Product Description
We have precisely reproduced the parts needed to convert the Tamiya F-14D to an F-14B using 3D modeling and 3D printing.
The shapes of the parts that need to be changed on each part of the aircraft have been adjusted so that they can be attached without modifying the kit.
Compared to the D model, the instrument panel has fewer MFDs in both the front and rear seats, and the arrangement of the instruments is different. The ejection seat was the same GRU-7A as the A model.
The HUD changed to a type with a combiner compared to the A model, but the shape of the combiner is different from that of the D model. It has been reproduced in clear resin.
In the B model, it seems that the chin pod with the AN/AXX-1 TCS was mainly used. When the TCS camera was not installed, a bullet-shaped fairing was attached.
*The AN/AXX-1 camera lens comes as a clear UV resin part.
The A/B type has an AN/ALQ-126 DECM antenna attached to the underside of the globe. It comes as a set of two, one for high frequency and one for low frequency.
The wheel shape is also different from the D type. The tires, which reproduce deformation under their own weight, are separate parts, making them easier to paint.
