Jig for drilling straight holes in the end face (core) and sides of plastic round bars
This jig is for accurately drilling holes in the core (end face) and sides of plastic round bars with diameters of 2, 3, 4, and 5 mm. Designed exclusively for 1 mm diameter drill bits, it allows for high-precision machining of difficult processes that would be difficult to do by hand, where the center would be off.
If you want to drill holes with a diameter of less than 1 mm, please use a Lumor drill with a 1 mm shank and a small diameter cutting edge at the tip.
However, for core and end face machining, the total length of the cutting edge must be 18 mm or more.

Caution
*To perform high-precision processing, please match the plastic rod itself to the specified size. The tolerance is 0 to +0.05mm.
Example: When using a 2.0mm hole, please use a 2.00-2.05mm plastic rod.
Always use the specified size drill bit. Using the wrong size may cause the inner wall of the hole to be scraped, reducing accuracy, or the bit may become stuck.
*Please note that there may be minor scratches on the surface that do not affect use.
*Please use a metalworking drill bit. Low-quality drill bits may break and become impossible to remove. Also, "hole setting" of the drill hole is required for the first use. By inserting a 1mm drill bit and rotating it, the excess plating thickness inside the drill hole is removed, and the hole is optimized for the drill bit you have. Even after setting the hole, it is recommended to use a metalworking drill bit.
