■Product Description
We are pleased to present the 1/144 ATR-72-600 turboprop passenger aircraft, a completely new mold from X-Scale Models, a Ukrainian passenger aircraft kit manufacturer. The ATR-72, which first flew in 1988, is manufactured by the French-Italian joint venture aircraft manufacturer ATR. The ATR-72 has an increased fuel capacity of approximately 10 percent compared to the ATR-42, with a fuselage extended by 4.5 meters, a wingspan extended, and a more powerful engine, resulting in increased payload capacity. The -600 series, announced in 2007 and introduced in 2010, features a PW127M engine and a glass cockpit with LCD screens. This aircraft is operated worldwide, including by Japanese airlines, as a passenger aircraft, transport aircraft, military anti-submarine patrol aircraft, and government aircraft. This injection plastic kit includes cockpit details, painting mask stickers, and one type of decal. The kit also includes both standard propeller parts and feathering propeller parts (for when the propeller is positioned upright in the direction of travel to prevent it from spinning due to wind while parked). When completed, the model will have a total length of approximately 190mm and a wingspan of approximately 190mm. This is a must-have kit for passenger aircraft enthusiasts.
