■Product Description
Shiratsuyu was the first ship of the Shiratsuyu-class first-class destroyers of the Imperial Japanese Navy, and the second ship of the Imperial Japanese Navy to bear this name, following the Kamikaze-class destroyer Shiratsuyu. This ship was completed in November 1933 and participated in battles around the Solomon Islands and the Battle of Bougainville during the war. In June 1944, Shiratsuyu collided with the oil tanker "Seiyo Maru" in the Surigao Strait and sank in about 3 minutes due to the detonation of depth charges.
