Introducing the completely new 1/72 Northrop HL-10 Lifting Body Experimental Aircraft from AMP of Ukraine. The HL-10 is a lifting body aircraft based on research at NASA's Ames Research Center and Langley Research Center. The aircraft was manufactured by Northrop and made its first flight in 1966. "HL" stands for horizontal landing, and "10" refers to the 10th design researched by engineers at Langley Research Center. Equipped with a powerful rocket engine in an all-metal airframe, the HL-10 flew 37 times during the research program and set records for the highest speed (Mach 1.86) and fastest altitude (27,440m) in the lifting body program. The kit includes photo-etched parts, a 3D-printed ejection seat, painting mask stickers, and one type of decal. The completed kit will be approximately 90mm in length and 58mm in wingspan.
