31st Squadron "Ten-Ichigo" Operation Yamato Unit Forward Warning Force
The first in a series of ships belonging to the 31st Squadron reproduced with 3D printed parts.
The 31st Squadron was an anti-submarine task force mainly composed of Matsu-class destroyers, which were built in the later stages of the war to expand its strength.
However, the unit was not blessed with good fortune in battle and was repeatedly disbanded, eventually being included in the Second Fleet, which included the battleship "Yamato".
On April 6, 1945, the squadron flagship "Hanatsuki" accompanied the special surface attack force consisting of the battleship "Yamato", the cruiser "Yahagi", and eight destroyers as an anti-submarine vanguard, going as far as the Bungo Strait due to fuel constraints. However, after it was seen accompanying the force beyond the planned area, the "Yamato" sent a flag signal saying "Go home, go home", and the squadron returned to see off the Yamato unit.
