■Product Description
The contents of the limited edition of the special-type destroyer "Amagiri" are a historical episode version following "Ikazuchi 1942" and "Fumizuki 1943". In May 1943, it encountered PT109, commanded by the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. There is a difference of opinion regarding the sinking of PT109, with the US side claiming it was sunk by a suicide attack by Amagiri and the Japanese side claiming it was a collision accident at night. However, the contents are based on the episode in which PT109 caught fire and sank. In the later stages of the war, special-type destroyers had their anti-aircraft armament strengthened, and Amagiri also had its second main gun turret removed and two 25mm triple machine guns added in its place. This kit allows you to recreate its appearance in 1943 and 1944.
