■ Description
It's a 1/43 scale from EIDOLON.・The handmaid.・This is the Lamborghini Countdown LP400 1974 headlamp open.

Model explanation
Pop-up of the retro headlights, the iconic gimmicks of the supercars of the '70s, is a faithful reproduction of the Lamborghini Countdown LP400.
We've had a lot of contacts since we started.・Since the late 2010s, we've been looking at prototyping, developing products using second-generation prototypes, improving the precision of the propulsion, improving the resolution of each part, and getting closer to the actual car. We've also built this product based on the second-generation prototype.
Our 1/43 model car is a propulsion model made of leather, so we don't have the gimmicks of opening doors or closing headlights, but this time, we're focusing on high-resolution reproduction of the LP400's "pop-up headlights".
Retractable headlights are one of the hardest things to do in a scale model. When you incorporate open-closure geometry, the gaps in the body and the lids and the thickness of the parts can make it less realistic. Especially on a scale of 1/43, the problem becomes more prominent.
In addition, we're using fine-grained panel lines, mirror finish painting, fine-grained fitting of windows and window frames, wheels that have been replaced with white-metal casting, as well as the standards of our model cars.
I'm sure many of you remember the scene of the supercar boom, when the headlights of the contacts were just on, and the cheerful scene, and I hope you'll remember that memorable moment with this model car.

Vehicle description
In the late 1970s, there was the supercar boom, which fascinated boys all over Japan, and it was centered on the Ferrari 512BB and the Lamborghini Counter, both super sports with 12-cylinder engines on the back of the cockpit.・Gandhiini's contact form, rather than a wedge-shaped shell, was the exact same as the axe itself, giving off an impact greater than 512 BB.

Countak unveiled the prototype at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, and its striking design became a household name in Italy, where the car's name means "surprise" in Italian.

It was finally put on the market in 1974, but it was said to have faced challenges such as a lack of body strength and the difficulty of cooling the engine.

After its release, it continued to be improved and produced until 1990, largely in response to demands from the U.S. market, such as emission controls and increased collision safety standards.

And in some of these situations, the smart, clean, early prototype LP400 has been re-evaluated early on, and it's still incredibly popular. This model, based on the early LP400, reproduces the pop-up of the retractable headlights that were known at the time as flashlights.
