This is a 1/43 scale handmade model car of the "Porsche 911 (964) Turbo 3.6 1993" produced by "VISION".
Model Description
This model faithfully reproduces the "Porsche 911 (964) Turbo 3.6 1993", which was released in 1993 as an improved version of the Turbo series.
The model was created using the 964 type 911 developed by our company as the base for the Turbo 3.6. It reproduces all the features of the 911 (964) Turbo 3.6.
While it has a similar appearance to the Turbo, the 3-piece wheels, which are a characteristic of the Turbo 3.6, are made from turned parts, aiming for a quality not seen in mass-produced models.
Vehicle Description
The 930 Turbo reigned as the flagship model and top of the lineup for a long time. After the model change to the 964 series in 1990, it was absent from the lineup for a while.
Finally, in 1991, the "Turbo 3.3" of the 964 series was announced. The enlarged front and rear fenders, an icon of the Turbo, were also carried over to the 964 Turbo. The door mirrors were the first to be made of curved Turbo mirrors. The large rear wing is similar to that of the final version of the 930 Turbo, but it is a dedicated part.
In 1993, the "Turbo 3.6" was finally announced. The displacement is the same as the Carrera at 3.6L, so at first glance it might be thought to be a Carrera engine with a turbocharger and low compression, but in reality, almost all parts were newly designed for the Turbo 3.6.
The exterior follows that of the Turbo 3.3, but the wheels were changed to 18-inch 3-piece wheels. The rear bumper uses the one adopted from the Carrera RS, with raised sides on both sides of the license plate.
