■Product Description
This model faithfully reproduces the "Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach Package," a special model of Porsche equipped with an even more spartan performance package.
One of the eye-catching features of the 918 Spyder is the engine hood.
The entire surface is covered with a hexagonal honeycomb mesh, allowing the interior to be seen through.
The model also incorporates etched parts with press processing into the mesh area to match the actual car, and the molding visible through the mesh is also expressed in a simple manner.
The magnesium wheels, the most distinctive feature of the "Weissach Package," are injection molded to ensure strength, and 3D data has been created to be as close to the actual car as possible.
Similarly, the carbon diffuser, which wraps around the rear bumper from below, a characteristic of cars equipped with the Weissach Package, was also designed to be thin and sharp.
Vehicles equipped with the Weissach package feature numerous carbon fiber parts, many of which are left unpainted with body color, leaving the carbon fiber exposed. In this model, however, carbon fiber pattern decals are applied to these areas, and a clear coating is applied over them to create an appearance very similar to the real car.
