About the actual car
In an era when Group 5 cars became the mainstream of sports car racing, Kremer Racing, a renowned German Porsche tuner, gained the support of many private teams by applying its own unique tuning and improvements to the Porsche 935. While Kremer's 935 was based on the Porsche works machine, it was finished with original improvements to everything from the aerodynamics of the body to the engine. The K2 was developed in 1977 for the German National Championship and also participated in the World Championship in 1978. In the 1977 German National Championship, DRM, it was driven by Peter Gregg and others and performed well.
About the model
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Porsche 935K2 that participated in the 1977 German Racing Car Championship. The aerodynamic body style and bodywork, which were modified by Kremer, are reproduced not only in shape but also in fine detail. This model replicates the aerodynamic form unique to Kremer Racing. In addition, the interior is modeled in detail, including the seats, dashboard, roll cage, and various other equipment.
