The M series is a pickup truck that was sold by Ford's Mercury division in the United States from around 1947 to 1968.
It was a full-size pickup truck, with M standing for Mercury, and the number after it indicating the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) divided by 100.
Both inline 6-cylinder and V8 engines were available, and the drive system included rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models.
It was mainly sold in Canada.
The 1968 model was the final production model of the M series.
