【About the Product】
This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the appearance of German infantry at Anzio on the Italian front in 1944.
The Battle of Anzio took place in Anzio, Italy, as one of the Allied forces' full-scale landing operations in Europe at the end of World War II.
The Allied forces, aiming for Rome, began their fierce landing at Anzio, Italy, but were met by the German garrison.
The Allied forces consisted of British and American troops. A fierce battle ensued between them and the German garrison, but in June 1944, the German forces withdrew from Rome and Rome was liberated.
The model is a 1/35 scale plastic model figure assembly kit that recreates German soldiers who met the Allied forces at Anzio during their landing operation in 1944.
Four German soldiers are modeled in poses depicting them marching on the fierce battlefield.
The infantry uniforms worn during the winter battle at Anzio are a faithful reproduction of German winter equipment. Four different styles are depicted, including soldiers wearing camouflage jackets over long coats, and soldiers wearing only long coats.
