■Product Description
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Ford Escort Mk.I, one of the most famous cars in rally history.
Manufactured by Belkits of Belgium, which energetically develops both old and new rally cars. This kit models the Daily Miller RAC Rally specification that Timo Mäkinen drove to victory in 1973. The finished length is 168mm, the width is 77mm, and it has 144 parts. The body, with its overfenders reproduced as one piece, gives a realistic feel to the distinctive style. The front and rear bumpers and grille are made of plated parts, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of a 70s machine. The underside of the chassis has a three-dimensional finish with separate parts for the engine bottom and exhaust pipes. The leaf springs of the rear suspension are also accurately modeled.
The interior is reproduced in detail, including the dashboard, seats, and roll bar. Etched parts and belt material are provided for the seat belts to create a realistic finish. The markings are decals made by Cartograf. Furthermore, the kit includes etched parts such as brake discs and soft plastic parts for mud flaps. Enjoy classic cars from yesteryear with this Belkit.
