●Precise reproduction of an Iveco truck with a reefer cargo carrier
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Turbostar, a reefer cargo truck produced by the Italian truck manufacturer Iveco.
About the actual vehicle
Iveco was established in 1975, mainly by Fiat of Italy. They manufacture a wide range of vehicles, including trucks and buses of all sizes, as well as construction vehicles, fire trucks, and military vehicles. One of these is the Turbostar truck, which was in the lineup from 1984 to 1993. It was developed as a successor to the previous Iveco 190 series, and was an evolved version of the Turbo 190 with detailed revisions. The engine lineup included inline 6-cylinder and V8-cylinder engines. The cabin was developed with an improved aerodynamic design, and considerable effort was also put into developing the interior comfort. Various sizes and types of trucks and trailer heads were available to meet the demands of a wide range of users. With an excellent ratio of body size to load capacity, it was popular not only for transportation on highways but also for local delivery work in regional cities.

This model is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Iveco Turbostar 198-48. In particular, it models a reefer truck equipped with a reefer (refrigerated/frozen) cargo with an air conditioning mechanism on the rear cargo bed. The finished length is 430mm and it is reproduced in full detail from the engine to the chassis and the interior of the cabin. The cargo area equipped at the rear is accurately reproduced with air conditioning equipment and other details. The details of the surface of the box panels are also finely expressed, which enhances the realism of the finished product. The ladder frame is assembled from the main frame, and the front and rear suspensions and axles are attached. The engine is reproduced in detail, including auxiliary equipment. Furthermore, the cabin is modeled in detail not only on the outside but also on the interior. The door panels and other details are also reproduced, making it very realistic. The cabin can be tilted up forward and opened. The long type chassis is a new part. In addition, markings, including various license plates, are provided as decals.
