This is an Italeri plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the German Tiger I, said to be one of the strongest tanks of World War II, in 1/35 scale.
About the actual vehicle
The German Tiger I tank was equipped with a powerful 88mm main gun and demonstrated overwhelming power against the Allied and Soviet forces. With its straight-lined hull and heavy 100mm frontal armor, it was one of the most representative tanks of World War II in terms of both offensive and defensive capabilities. Production began in 1942, and when assigned to heavy tank battalions, it demonstrated its power on the North African and Eastern Fronts. Production continued until 1944 with improvements made to various parts. From a certain point, vehicles with Zimmerit coating to protect against magnetic mines also appeared. It was gradually deployed to heavy tank battalions and demonstrated the power of its 88mm gun on various fronts.
