About the actual car
The M4 GT3 is a GT3 racing machine that BMW announced in 2021 as the successor to the M6. The engine is a 2993cc inline 6-cylinder equipped with an M TwinPower Turbo and produces 590 horsepower. The transmission is an Xtrac 6-speed. The body has a large air outlet on the hood and a wing attached to the rear with a swan neck stay. Deliveries to racing teams around the world began in 2022 and it has been active in GT3 category races in Europe and America. In Japan, a Super GT team has also introduced it. In the 2025 season, Belgian racing team Team WRT will compete in the Intercontinental GT Challenge series as part of BMW's works team. At the Bathurst 12 Hour race held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia in January, car number 32, driven by Augusto Farfus and the Van der Linde brothers, Kelvin and Sheldon, achieved a magnificent victory.
