【About the actual ship.】
USS Iowa was the name ship of the USS Iowa-class battleship, launched in 1943 during World War II. Six ships were planned and four were built. The standard discharge was 48,500 tons, with a total length of 270 metres.
During World War II, she served as the flagship of the Seventh Fleet in the Pacific Theater from 1944 onwards.
After the war, he served in the Korean War as well as providing modern equipment and weaponry, including missiles, and was deployed three times in all parts of the world, continuing to operate in the world's oceans.
It was decommissioned in 2006 and shipped to the Port of Los Angeles, where it remains today as a museum.
