About the actual car
The C4 WRC was a machine developed by Citroën in 2007 for the World Rally Championship, WRC. Developed as the successor to the previous Xsara WRC, the machine was based on the Citroën C4 Coupe and began participating in the World Rally Championship from 2007. The engine was a 1998cc single turbo inline 4-cylinder mounted in the front and combined with a four-wheel drive drivetrain.
In the first race of the 2007 season, the Monte Carlo Rally, Sébastien Loeb took first place. This marked the debut win for the C4 WRC, and he continued to achieve many victories, including winning the Drivers' Championship and Manufacturers' Championship by 2010.
