This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the British Royal Air Force Spitfire, a masterpiece fighter from World War II. In particular, it models the Mk.IX equipped with a Merlin 60 series engine. The kit parts are molded from plastic that has been color-matched to the British Royal Air Force color BS638. The finished model will be approximately 130mm in length and 155mm in wingspan, and the unique wing design and fuselage shape of this masterpiece aircraft will be faithfully reproduced down to the panel lines.
Of course, the canopy is made of clear parts so you can look into the cockpit even after completion.
One pilot figure that fits in the cockpit is also included. In addition, the landing gear can be assembled in either the extended or retracted position. Furthermore, the engine is also reproduced in this kit. The cover can be removed even after completion so you can enjoy the mechanical atmosphere. Decals are provided for markings.
