The Battle of Waterloo took place on June 18, 1815. The battle, in which the French army led by Napoleon clashed with the combined forces of Britain and the Netherlands and the Prussian army, ended in a French defeat. It was a battle that decided the fate of the Napoleonic Wars.
The key point of the battle was the farm of La Haye Sainte. La Haye Sainte is a farm located near the Charleroi-Brussels road in Belgium, and it was here that the French army led by Napoleon, the combined forces of Britain and the Netherlands, and the Prussian army fought a fierce battle.
