■Product Description
This kit is a set of two Thunderbolt Mk.IIs, the 'bubble top' type equipped with a teardrop-shaped canopy. The markings include two types of aircraft that fought on the Burma front and two types of aircraft that were used for training in North Africa in anticipation of combat in tropical regions. What's more, all four of these markings feature different styles of aircraft paint schemes, which is another attractive feature. The standard gray camouflage of British Royal Air Force fighters, the brown camouflage that conveys the harshness of the Burma front, the unpainted silver reminiscent of American aircraft, and the imposing special paint scheme of the training unit commander aircraft make for an enjoyable selection of markings.
