The T-1 trainer aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force was the first domestically produced jet aircraft to appear after the war. This masterpiece aircraft, which trained many pilots, was adorned with many special markings during its service. Among them, one aircraft that still leaves a strong impression on fans is now available in 1/72 scale. The special paint scheme applied to aircraft No. 855 of the 5th Technical School in 2004, the 50th anniversary of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, has been completely reproduced. From the stripes on various parts of the aircraft to the orca mark on the tail fin, which was specially made gold, it is provided with silkscreen decals made by Cartograf of Italy. Except for the base white paint, most of the coloring is covered with easy-to-apply decals. The blue and orange-red stripes, reminiscent of the F-86F Blue Impulse of yesteryear, also suit the clean style of the T-1 trainer aircraft well.
