■Product Description
A fighter plane with a remarkable fate, manufactured in the United States, ordered by Sweden, then going from Britain to Canada, and finally to the US West Coast and China.
US West Coast - Mainland China: 130 aircraft
■A single-seat fighter plane manufactured by the American Vultee Company. Manufactured in 1939, it was an unfortunate aircraft with an excessively narrowed nose cowling in an attempt to improve aerodynamics, and frequent mysterious spin-roll accidents during ground taxiing. It was supplied from Sweden to Britain and Canada, and finally to the Chinese Nationalist Army. Of the 129 aircraft, about 50 were used on the Chinese front. The rest were used for the defense of the West Coast after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was sometimes mistaken for the Zero or Hayabusa due to its similar silhouette. It was armed with four 7.62 mm cannons in the nose and two 12.7 mm cannons in the wings. It was more often lost on the ground than in aerial combat.
