■Interest in the theme of World War II remains high, and we continue to produce kits based on this era.
This kit is part of a duology consisting of two kits, and is based on an event that took place in December 1944 near Bastogne, France. At that time, the paratroopers of the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division, despite being overwhelmingly outnumbered, held out in the town and almost completely halted the German offensive in the Ardennes. Brigadier General McAuliffe's response of "NUTS!" (Don't mess with me!) to the surrender demands has become legendary.
The kit includes one plastic sprue for assembling four U.S. paratroopers who fought in the fierce battle.
This kit can be used to create a very expressive vignette on its own, or to create a larger diorama by combining it with damaged enemy equipment or Master Box's kit 35254.
The figures are sculpted with high artistic merit, and are truly high-quality miniature sculptures.
