■Product Description
This was the flagship of Columbus's voyage to discover the Americas. While the Nina and Pinta were caravels, the Santa Maria was a carrack and the largest ship in Columbus's fleet.
However, after crossing the Atlantic Ocean and arriving in the Americas in 1492, it ran aground and was dismantled on-site, with its materials being reused to build a local fort.
