■Product Description
The Bergehetzer was a recovery tank used by the Hetzer tank destroyer units, which became the main equipment for tank destroyer units in the latter half of the war. It was equipped with a collapsible jib crane on the side, which allowed for the replacement of engines and other parts.
Recovery tanks were important for maintaining combat strength in the retreat battles at the end of the war, and their deployment was welcomed. Some vehicles were equipped with a 2cm Flak 38 for self-defense.
