The second-generation Subaru Impreza was born in 2000. The WRX STi, the strongest model set up for participation in the WRC (World Rally Championship), was continued from the first generation. In 2002, it underwent a minor change, with the exterior being significantly altered, evolving into the Applied C, commonly known as the "teardrop" design. In 2005, it underwent another minor change, reaching the Applied F, commonly known as the "hawk-eye" design, and was a long-running model that was sold until the full model change in 2007.
A new specification has appeared for the second-generation Impreza in the TLV-NEO series, which has been well-received. The body color has been changed to black, and it is a specification that is equipped with exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels for the top-grade WRX STi.
