Road cleaning is essential for ensuring safe traffic. At the heart of this is the "road sweeper," also known as a road sweeper, which uses a rotating brush to remove dirt from the road surface. In urban areas with many narrow alleys and on-street parking lots, three-wheeled vehicles, which are easy to maneuver, have been introduced and are very effective in cleaning. They mainly operate at night and in the early morning when there is little traffic, so there are few opportunities to observe them closely, but their unique shape and running sound make them stand out.
The TLV series has been energetically developing working vehicles.
A new specification is now available for the road sweeper, which was recently produced and well-received. This time, it is the color scheme used by the Sanitation Bureau (now: Kawasaki City Environmental Bureau) of Kawasaki City, a transportation hub in Kanagawa Prefecture and a city where commerce and industry thrive. This model faithfully reproduces the iconic Tokyu Car Corporation (now Toho Car Corporation) SW2Z2 type based on meticulous research of the actual vehicle. Key features of the vehicle are made movable, and the rear wheels, angled inwards to allow for tight turns, feature a steering mechanism—a first for TLV models.
Furthermore, details such as the round twin headlights, the speaker on the hood, and the bucket faucet are highlights of the Kawasaki City Sanitation Bureau specifications.
*Side mirrors and rear mirror are user-installed parts.
