The Aero Bus introduced to JR Bus companies throughout Honshu was particularly famous among fans due to its distinctive specifications, which strongly inherited the specifications of the former JNR Highway Bus-dedicated vehicles.
Although the exterior is not much different from a regular Aero Bus, it was equipped with a turbocharger to meet the requirements of JR Highway Buses, and there were many differences from the commercially available vehicle, such as a gear ratio set for higher speeds and a foot-operated horn switch. The model number is "MS725SA改" and although it is treated as a modified commercially available vehicle, it was a specification that could be said to be a de facto JR Highway Bus-dedicated model.
This time, the popular Aero Bus is now available in JR Bus Kanto specifications. The most distinctive exterior features, such as the rear garnish panel with air intake, the exhaust area unique to turbo vehicles, and the separate tachometer that enhances realism, are all reproduced with new parts. The distinctive coloring is also vividly reproduced. The prototype is H654-87434, which belonged to the Tsuchiura depot, and it is depicted as it was in the early 2000s when it was still in service.
Combine it with various TLV models and Tomicarama Vintage highways currently on sale to enjoy classic highway scenes.
