■Product Description
A small, general-purpose vehicle that serves as the workhorse of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, handling all kinds of missions from transporting personnel and equipment and delivering messages to reconnaissance and scouting. Procurement began in 1996 to replace the outdated Type 73 light truck, and it is still in operation today under the name 1/2-ton truck. It is an automatic transmission vehicle equipped with air conditioning and a car radio, making it closer to a civilian car despite being in the Self-Defense Forces.
This product reproduces the so-called "mid-production model" procured in the 2000s. It is characterized by fog lamps embedded in the bumper and an air intake on the hood. The included water-slide decals include various unit and vehicle number markings that can be reproduced. You can finish it to your preferred unit and mission vehicle.
