The S2000 is an FR sports car developed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Honda's founding. Everything about it was different from other Honda cars of the time, from the car name and open body reminiscent of the old S series, to the engine that revved effortlessly up to nearly 9000 rpm, and the FR drive. It was released in 1999 and sold until 2009, undergoing several minor changes such as changes to the interior and exterior and an increase in engine displacement. Due to its unique character, it has maintained high popularity even after production ended.
TLV-NEO has been offering the S2000 since September 2022 and has been well received, but this time we are releasing a new specification. This time it is the later model, and in particular the N280d reproduces the Type V which was equipped with the world's first speed-responsive variable gear ratio (VGS) steering mechanism. The D-shaped steering wheel and rear VGS emblem, exclusive to the Type V, have been reproduced.
This product features an opening and closing engine hood, reproducing the F22C engine. The soft top comes with parts for both the open and closed positions. Please note the stylish coloring of both.
*The soft top cover (open position) and soft top (closed position) are user-installed parts.
