●Productization of the final model of the Crown Custom
The second-generation Toyopet Crown, which appeared in 1962, was available in light van and wagon body styles. The van, which was registered as a commercial vehicle, was called the Masterline, and the wagon, which was treated as a passenger car, was called the Crown Custom, with the names being distinct. A major change was the extension of the front section in 1965, based on the assumption of a 6-cylinder engine. After a minor change to the exterior in the autumn of the following year, the Masterline name disappeared in 1967 with the change of generation.
This time, TLV will be producing the final model of the 1967 Crown Custom.
Based on the second-generation Crown, the body, with an extended rear overhang for the cargo area, is stylish, and the thin, long roof is also attractive. This time, we will be releasing the final model of the 1967 Crown Custom.
The base model, the early S40 series Crown sedan, was produced as one of the very first TLV products (LV-03, released in January 2004). This is a model that allows you to reflect on the changes in TLV and miniature cars over the past 20 years.
