■Product Description
This is a 1/12 scale model of the M60E3. In addition to the gun itself, a belt-linked round made of soft resin is included. A short barrel length is selectable.
The M60E3 is an improved version of the M60, a general-purpose machine gun developed by the United States after World War II. The M60 debuted meeting the requirements of a general-purpose machine gun, but various problems became apparent through actual combat. The E3 version was developed to solve these problems. It was made lighter and the handle and bipod positions were improved, but it was eventually replaced by the more reliable M240 machine gun. However, there were those who valued its performance, and the Navy SEALs and other special forces continued to use it even after the introduction of the M240. Furthermore, its rugged design became popular in the world of action movies, and it has added flair to masterpieces as a "big gun" wielded by muscular actors.
