From "Little Armory," the 1/12 scale modern firearms plastic model series familiar for its packaging featuring girls in school uniforms and guns, comes the "STUDY1942" series, which reproduces a variety of firearms developed up to the end of World War II that formed the foundation of modern firearms.
About the Sten Mk2 Type
The Sten gun is a 9mm caliber submachine gun developed in Britain during WWII.
In 1940, Britain was suffering from a serious shortage of firearms due to the deployment of U-boats, air raids on the mainland, and equipment losses due to the Dunkirk evacuation. The Sten gun was born as a solution to this problem. It was designed with production efficiency in mind, using pipe material for the receiver and adopting a simple trigger mechanism. It was manufactured in any factory capable of metalworking, demonstrating its high productivity, even being produced in toy manufacturers' factories. The Sten gun played a crucial role in helping a nation overcome its disadvantages and find a way to resist.
Little Armory has produced a two-gun set featuring the most produced Mk.2 model and its special operations model, the S. Three types of stocks and the option to include or exclude a bayonet allow for style selection.
