The Datsun Truck is a leading example of Japanese cars with an American flair. Among them, the 720 model, which appeared in 1979, was epoch-making with its square body style and the first ever 4WD configuration, and remains highly popular even today.
The later models from 1983 onwards featured an enlarged grille and a repositioned taillight, resulting in an even more refined design. TLV produced a 1/43 scale version in 2019, but now it is finally available in 1/64 scale with an undercarriage gimmick.
The King Cab AD, which was set as the top-of-the-line model in the variations and has a long rear seat, is reproduced, and the 4WD, which was also popular in Japan, will be available in two versions: domestic and North American. In addition to the detailed variations in grille and interior, this model features a new gimmick: the front and rear suspension moves, and rock parts are included, allowing you to enjoy the off-road appeal of the miniature car as the tires follow the uneven terrain. Be sure to take it out of the box and display it on the uneven surface of your desktop.
