■Product Description
After experiencing the power of "tanks" in WWI and WII, various countries sought countermeasures. Among them, the "2.36-inch Rocket Launcher M1," commonly known as the "Bazooka," was an anti-tank weapon put into practical use by the United States in 1942.
This weapon, which had the power to destroy a tank even with a single soldier, was such a force that it was called "one of the weapons that led to victory in the war" by Allied commander General Eisenhower.
The name "Bazooka" is a nickname given because it resembles a musical instrument (bazooka) used by stage performer Bob Burns.
This kit reproduces the M1A1 Bazooka late model in 1/12 scale. Two types of rockets are included: the pointed M6A1 and the improved cylindrical M6A3. Two molded colors are used: brown and black.
