■Product Description
Two types of military automatic pistols developed during the Soviet era.
The Tokarev pistol, or T-33, is based on the American M1911, but is characterized by its simple design, even omitting a safety mechanism. It has the fewest parts of any military automatic pistol of the same period, boasting high productivity. The 7.62×25mm Tokarev round used in this gun is also famous for its extremely high penetration power.
The Makarov, or PM, is a medium-sized pistol developed after the war. Based on the idea that "a pistol on the battlefield is a secondary firearm," it was designed with an emphasis on portability, such as being small, lightweight, and having improved safety. It is still widely used today, mainly in the Eastern Bloc, and is frequently featured in the media.
This kit reproduces the actions of an automatic pistol in each shape, such as cocking and lowering the hammer and recoiling the slide. Brown molded plastic is used for the grip and leather holster. A rubber band that can be used as a holster belt is also included. The Makarov comes with three selectable grips. A set containing a total of six pistols.
