■Product Description
This RI model was built at the Army Rock Island Arsenal and is equipped with the original M14 22-inch barrel, with minor modifications to the scope mount, pistol grip, and other specifications. From 2010, it was deployed to the Afghan deployment forces at a ratio of two rifles per infantry platoon, playing a role in supplementing range.
About the M14EBR-RI Type
The old high-powered rifle "M14" was reintroduced due to the insufficient range of the M16/M4 in the Middle East battlefields. To adapt it to modern warfare, it was assembled with an aluminum chassis with a rail system and an adjustable stock, and used by special forces as the EBR = Enhanced Battle Rifle. After field evaluation, the EBR was subsequently introduced to regular units.
