■Product Description
These are two types of bulletproof shields, large and small, widely used by law enforcement agencies such as the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Spetsnaz.
They are said to be essential equipment for the "Russian style of counter-terrorism tactics," which involves launching a fierce attack on a building where the target is hiding, followed by securing the area with heavy bulletproof shields at the forefront.
We have reproduced a heavy, large shield that can withstand rifle rounds and a smaller shield that prioritizes mobility.
About Heavy Shields
■VANT-VM Type
A large ballistic shield composed of armor plates, bulletproof fibers, and bulletproof glass. Designed for combat against heavily armed opponents, it can withstand not only AK and M16 rifles but also gunfire from SVDs using soft iron core rounds. Due to its weight of 24kg, it is often supported by a harness. The flap protecting the feet is designed to withstand high-penetration pistol rounds such as those from the Tokarev and PSM. A powerful 5-barrel flashlight for search and blinding can be equipped. This kit reproduces the main body with black and green resin, and includes clear parts for the lights and windows. The bottom flap is movable. A sling harness made of rubber bands and rings is also included.
■BZT-75 type
A small shield made of metal bulletproof plate covered with cloth. It is designed with mobility in mind, and has a handle specifically for holding with one arm. The titanium model weighs 5.4 kg, and the steel model weighs 8.8 kg.
