■Product Description
The guardian deity of the East is now available as a high-resolution injection kit!
Kaiyodo has produced many "highest quality replicas that you can hold in your hands" with their precise and exquisite balance achieved through meticulous observation, capturing the characteristics of works of art and statues.
A new series of plastic model kits has been launched that attempts to express this technology in injection kit form, bringing "Buddhist statues" to life!
The first release is a plastic model kit of "Jikokuten," one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" who protect the main deity in temples and shrines from all four sides, holding a three-pronged spear and glaring with sharp eyes.
Jikokuten, who is positioned to the east (front left) of the main deity among the Four Heavenly Kings, has been brought to life in a size of approximately 160mm in height, allowing you to enjoy the perfect presence and intricate details when you hold it in your hand.
The figure perfectly captures the atmosphere of the actual Jikokuten statue, from its tightly closed mouth and piercing gaze to the armor and clothing modeled after those worn by Chinese Tang Dynasty generals, and its static yet powerful presence.
Each detail, such as the three-pronged spear in its left hand, the roughly shaped base, and the dynamic sashes hanging down on either side, is also meticulously crafted.
The figure also reproduces the intricate details of the armor's surface, a highlight of Jikokuten, with its subtle contours and the textures of different materials like cloth, leather, and skin, expressed through sculpting.
To prevent the details and distinctive curves of each part from being lost due to the injection molding process, the figure features clever part divisions that prioritize the beauty of the finished product.
In particular, small details such as the ears and shoulder pads of the armor are sculpted with high precision, resulting in a beautiful figure down to the smallest detail. Furthermore, by minimizing the number of parts, it is possible to assemble the statue of Jikokuten, which is formed by a combination of complex curved surfaces, with a simple assembly process. ■Product Specifications Manufacturer: Kaiyodo Item No: AP007 Size: Approximately 16 cm Sculptor: Studio Ren Material: Plastic model kit Copyright: (c) Kaiyodo Scale: Non-scale JAN: 4537807190130
