■Product Description
About the actual Reppu Type 11 aircraft
The Reppu was the last fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy, developed as the successor to the Zero.
The prototype Reppu, completed in April 1944, failed to achieve the required performance due to problems with the Homare engine, making prototype development difficult and raising concerns about its adoption at one point.
It was quickly replaced with a Mitsubishi MK9 (Ha-43) engine, which allowed it to perform at a high level.
It was adopted as the Reppu Type 11.
However, the war ended before mass production was completed.
