■About the prototype Reppu
The Reppu was developed as the Navy's main carrier-based fighter aircraft to replace the masterpiece Zero Fighter.

However, its excellent airframe design was later inherited by the Reppu Type 11, which showed excellent performance after the engine was replaced.
